Domesticate Your Wardrobe

$35.00

I recently heard a fashion expert discuss the concept of “domesticating your wardrobe”, which is the idea that the longer you own your clothes, the better you get at styling them and the better they look on you. In a world where fast fashion is the expectation, this was a refreshing take. I have since been more careful about curating my wardrobe and intentional about styling my pieces. I painted this little watercolor as a reminder to take care of the things we have, instead of constantly reaching for more. The contrast of the dark sky also reflects the larger theme of this collection, Let the Light In.
